: Do you view the Tugforum using a widescreen display ? - Poll
: TugMaster March 30, 2009, 01:19:19
Just to help me to get an idea on how you view the TugForum, for future ideas and to also see it members have to scroll across to see the whole page, please vote in the poll

Thanks

Your doing this on purpose, arn't you TugMaster, you know questions like this confuse me and Footski !

I have to ask myself - Why would I want to ?
I've recently bought myself a new 17" TFT monitor and I want to see all 17" of it, not just a strip across the middle, I can simulate it though by putting a strip of duck tape across the top/bottom of my screen.  I don't have any trouble viewing this great sight, no side scrolling. I thought the site automatically adjusted to various screen sizes.

Anyway I've cast my vote (can you guess what it is)

So when you getting your 52inch sorry forgot your in America  82inch plasma  :D ^-^

As far as I can tell a lot of sites, are now going widescreen , With my clubs website the provider changed the software and so it automaticly went to wide screen , there is a way to run both which detects what you are running and defaults to your settings I believe , but when I asked my clubs provider about this they said  No.  I think you can do it if you have your own server.. but not really sure..

I went to a 21 widescreen at home.

I'm with Fred on this one!

I only have a 15" Dell LCD monitor, and I use an alternate 'format' selected from this forums display options panel, for better readability.

Well We don't have wide screen and it is a bl@@dy pain looking at one half of a pic and then having to go to the bottom of a post to scroll across and then scroll up again to see the other half of the pic  angry angry angry angry angry
Still I have found a solution to the problem............... I don't bother to look at the larger images!!!!

It should be simple enough to remove the pictures down the left hand side ............... then we can ALL see the forum without dragging mice around.

My old monitor packed in and the wide screen was as cheap as any, added to which my PC supports wide screen, so we are off on a different journey in a different world!!

Brilliant it is too... angel angel
