Evening all
I picked up a used  eldergarth tug hull up a few weeks back to use as a free lance build
For a  winter project fitted the nozzles cut the bulwarks  but didn't like how long the hull looked
So this evening i cut 2- 1/2 inchs out of it which you can see in the pictures

Afternoon olscuzbut
The 2 1/2 inch i cut from the hull was the flat part before the hull starts to curve
More of a guess lol. but more by eye
I cut my hull with a 12inch hacksaw & a good eye

Hi Jason

May I ask what size props you'll be using and do you think that type of motor would be man enough to turn a 87mm prop on a direct drive?

I've been out of tug building for so many years (flying RC planes ;)) but thought i'd might have a go over the winter. I have a large hull that's been sitting in my workshop for about 14 years  :(

Evening Ant
I am running 70mm props
I would run 87mm props you have on these type of motor direct drive
I have a 47inch tug running a 100mm prop on this type of motor with a 30amp Electronize speed controller
