Sorry chaps, were honestly still working on it ...the host is now a member of the forum (servertest) replocating the problem to try to get to the bottom of it, approx 15+ emails have gone back and forth trying to sort it.

The best advice I can give at the moment is of course to try to upload any pics but perhaps look at having them hosted by someone like www.imagecave.com and then post the link.

Another tip is to right click and copy text before you post, then if anything goes wrong you can always right click and paste to bring your text back ...I always do this anyway when writing long emails.

I think in the end if we can't sort this we may have to move the whole forum to another host/server or a dedicated server.

Thanks for bearing with us, I know its a pain.

Cheers

Tried to post 3 photos earlier, then individually, all crashed. Same error message.
All very small size.

Greetings -
Tried to post two photos - just grinds away almost looking everywhere for them until it gets frustrated and crashes! High speed connection, small file size but they don't post.

HI TUGMASTER ;  Is it posible that different settings on are individual computers vary ,and thats why some can post and others cannot . Some times even trying to post script does not work as well .So could it be its the settings on my machine .
It is still a great site all the same .    PUFFIN

Just joined photobucket, so trying a test photo 8)

Mutley: If you have the time, could you explain the benefits of using 'Image Hosting', such as Photobucket, to the membership here, and a quick way to use it to post photos, as it seems to work great, and without any 'glitches' whatsoever!!??
I'm totally new to it, and wouldn't be of much help I'm afraid :(

...Cheers...

Photo hosting is a reasonable option, but I have had some of my photobucket images
stop linking after a period of time. It's like the link used up it's bandwith limit, and
Photobucket turned it off. It can be a hazard to a build thread.

Here is an example of what happens when a photo host decides the images have
out grown their usefulness, and no longer need to be linked.

Sort of ruins the build thread.
:(

I got my last image to attach by posting the text, and then modifying the post and adding the image.

I agree with Umi here , using a third part to host pictures is an option but not one I would recomend, as should that person leave and shut down the 3rd party link it really does make a site/thread look silly. It is hoped that if someone left the site they would leave the pictures intact , however this is not usualy the case.
Next Build M.S.C Volant after 1 other.

It must be something linked to busy servers - I left my postings and came back later in the day - other than only single images being posted, they both went through without a hiccup. The first time there was a long delay generating the post before it crashed.
