Location info please!

Hi Gang:
I've noticed that a great number of the membership has no location showing under your user name.
It's handy to know the general locations of you all, not just out of interest, but when communicating about tugs and tugs for sale, or wanted!

It's easy to do...just log-in and go to your 'Profile', then add your location, which can be general, if you like; such as " South East England", or wherever.

Adding a personalised photo is a nice idea too!!

Good post Tugs53,
Apart from the interest in forum members far flung locations the differences in towing methods and terminology around the world make it essential to know a blokes location. It isn't much use talking to someone about a local model or full sized issue if they are the other side of the world and don't know what your'e on about. We should all put our locations in, And no, Tugmaster, 'Last seen staggering home' will NOT do!!!

In my part of the world, the term 'Gog-Rope' gets some strange looks; whereas 'swifter-wire' or 'dogline' would earn the same looks in the UK and Europe.

It's great to see where we're all located and you never know, there could be a forum member in your area 

Its easy to do, you will find a tab on the home page, click on PROFILE and away you go

While your on this subject has anything happened about being able to sort members by location as per my posting before Christmas
Now the jolly's are over someone could look into it for us, Can't be that difficult for the database wizz-kids out there
