The model in the picture looks like it may be a Francis Smith kit.

I've got smoke.
The new smoker seems to be working perfectly.
Here the Hartman is next to a three cylinder steam boat. :)

I felt the need for some realistic crud, and found a cool weathering guy named Mac McCulla.
Round one went good, might go for round two. What do ya think? :D

Looking Grand AJ 8) 8) 8)

Seeing as you have a white hull, perhaps some 'scuff' marks where your tires rub against the guardrail would be a nice touch....but in my opinion...don't get too carried away with the weathering, as too much can distract from the beauty of the build!!

...but that's just my opinion ;) ;)

....oh, and those towing lights .........

Cheers

AJ,

I agree with Mike. She looks great. Maybe just a little more "human" wear, like dirty walls near handles, scuff marks etc. She does look superb as she is though....Up to you, but don't overdo it!! :)

I had a large white band on the hull of my tug, and found after a short time the rubber tires started leaving their own dirty marks, a realistic dark brown color. I have since repainted most of the hull a blue so the tire marks are no longer there. But I believe after a while they will show up on this beautiful Hartman tug.

Yep. I agree. More wear and tear with some scuff marks.. Thank guys. :)

A talented guy named Longbike (Jeff), built me a cool spotlight and I should get it this week. (Little bigger than this one.)
