R U Overworked
« on: April 26, 2009, 04:33:20 »
Are You tired

Yes I`m tired;for several years I`ve been blaming it on old-age,poor blood,lack of vitamins,air pollution,the greenhouse effect,dieting, shift-work,fat build-up, and another dozen maladies--real,imagined or not yet discovered--that make you wonder if it is all worth living under such conditions ? ? ? :(
      I`ve found out that I am tired because I AM OVERWORKED ! !

The population of this country is 51million,of which 21million are retired.
That leaves 30million to do the work;
19million are at school leaving 11million to do the work.
Of this total 2million are unemployed and 4million work for the government leaving 5million to do the work.
Of this 1million are in the armed forcesand 3million are in the City Borough Councils cutting the people who work to 1million.
There are 620,000 people in hospitals and 379,998 in prison (or on the Costa del Sol) which leaves 2 people that are actually working.
YOU AND ME ARE YOU SITTING ON YOUR *BOTTOM* READING THIS ? >:D >:D >:D

"4million work for the government leaving 5million to do the work."

What do you call someone who "works" at a government agency?

A contractor.

To Todd,
I don't know where you got that one from Jim  but it's a good one.
Cheers Fred
Fred, (I can't walk on water but I have staggered on whisky)
