Hello all, an excellent array of photos of the side that I've not seen up close properly. Thanks for posting these Dan. One intriguing thing but not about the ship itself is the portacabin on the dockside.  Does anyone know if they carry it aboard for harbour use or if it is part of the new stringent port access controls?

cheers

Jim

I will find out tomorrow Jim, I seem to recall it being there when the last two cruise ships were on the same berth last week. Regards, Dan.

By the way, Aberdeen is very strict now on access to the quaysides, even though I have a pass for 'all areas' sometimes even I get turned away even when I am wearing all the correct ppe ! Gone are the days now of wandering amongst the vessels, they even have random bag checks for crews joining leaving the vessels and alcohol breath testers (they haven't caught me yet!!)  ;D Regards, Dan.

The ISLAND CONSTRUCTOR has just dropped anchor off Aberdeen, I will be intouch (yet again!) with the harbour board and hope to intercept her between the breakwaters when she heads in  :)
