Hi, I have visited and used Scoonie Models. As I live a fair distance from them, I now order by phone. Very helpful and friendly service. Any items I have ordered have been in the post to me the same day.

MARKS MODEL BITS

I have to award one of our moderators TANGO 10 out of 10 for great customer service I have recieved from him over the past week. I ordered motors, motor mounts & couplings from him and they were dispatched the very same day and in my house within 24hours, also for exchanging the incorrect couplings that I wrongly ordered. Great service from him and Angie especially on Saturday afternoon while he was watching the rugby  :-*

Many Thanks Mark & Angie, and I look forward to doing more shopping with you in the future  ;)

Regards, Dan.

ROYAL MAIL

Lastly for now, I had to send back 2 couplings to MMB on Monday, these were posted just before the post office closed at 5;30pm, they were at Marks front door the following morning ! He then posted off the replacements the same day and yes, you guessed it they we with me on Wednesday, certainly a good postal service !

Regards, Dan.

I have to give a big thank you to George Sitek  http://www.gsitek-props.co.uk/
for supplying me with the special built props I recently ordered for my Rotortug project.  Along with Umi's help, I was able to obtain some beautiful brass props to fit my small schottel drives, (once I finish the minor machine work).
George truly fulfilled my request and no question I will purchase props from him in the future.

I took an I.Q. test once..........The results came back negative.

I have recently placed some orders with the Model Dockyard and have found Nick Tonkin a most pleasant and helpful person to work with. The quality of the parts he has sent has been top notch and the orders were filled and shipped quickly. You folks in the UK are fortunate to have him as a local supplier. Thanks Nick for the great service.

www.ArtisticHobbies.com
Your Online Hobby Store, USA
Toll Free: 800-610-4294
M-F 10am-7pm
Sat 10am-4pm

I ordered up some of the Tamiya weathering kits from them along with some scale shackles ...

The ordering process was professional and well communicated.

There was a shipping issue with one of the weathering kits ( US post and Canada post not playing nice perhaps ) however
Artistic hobbies was quick to fix the problem and a credit was issues within days .

I would say this is a vendor worth checking out ...

My votes go to so far:

www.mobilemarinemodels.com/index.html

and

Cornwell Model Supplies

Both had packages ordered and delivered in 10 days from the UK to my door in New Zealand.

And had a good ol conversation via e-mail with Bryan and Mobile Marine. A real character. Thanks guys and you really put local shops here to shame but now that our local shop 100 miles away was destroyed in the earthquakes the Uk seems about the closest in terms of range and service, also the cost is pretty good. Strange but true.
