A TUG FORUM MEMBER GET-TOGETHER ?
« on: September 26, 2009, 12:09:06 »
I was thinking that possibly a 'get-together' of the forum members could be possible for next year  ;)

Following the great photos of the Chantry Club Tow Boat ;

http://modeltugforum.com/index.php?topic=1914.msg21674;topicseen#msg21674

This is just an idea, but any ideas would be great, unfortunately for me it would have to be in the UK as work commitments will not allow me to go any further but then again the other members over the pond could do the same  :D

Again, just a thought and look forward to seeing some suggastions  :)

Regards, Dan.

Next year, 2010, Two of us here in Oregon, USA, are talking about hosting a Trifecta Run.
Attend Three Events in August 2010, Tualatin Crawfish Festival/Portland Regatta, and
Then Foss Cup, and then Burnaby Regatta. and there will be prizes and gifts for those that
attend all three events. Prizes will be awarded for a combined point score based on the
attendee's placement/score at each event.

These three events take place in the course of one week in August.
The proposed dates at this time would appear to be
Saturday August 13,14,15 Tualatin/Portland, Oregon USA
Saturday August 21, Seattle, Washington USA
Sunday.. August 22,  Burnaby British Columbia Canada

This is definitely three events to consider attending if you have a week free, and
wish to visit the Pacific Northwest USA, and Vancouver BC, Canada.

At this time, we are very interested in hearing from those that would be interested in
attending, and what type of events, or activities they are most interested in participating.
