Two Dutch beauties!
« on: August 31, 2009, 17:04:26 »
These are a sort of stray from my normal drawing practice in that I 'softened' what I usually leave in as 'hard' detail. Both are done - as usual - in Microsoft Paint and then 'cleaned up' with Irfan View, which is an image editor.

Both are god looking examples of what were once the 'glory days' for those of us who sailed on the traditonal type of deep sea tug - but I have to admit, the 'Zwarte Zee' is without doubt my favourite! Enjoy!

The 'Elbe' as built.

,Zwarte Zee' in the more recognisable Smit colours

Yet again, two fine examples of your skill on the computer  :) And I agree with you, they are Beauties  :)

I have attached your other thread for the new members who might not be aware of your previous pictures  ;)

Cheers Dan,

I may look at some of the earlier ones and tidy them up. The more experimenting with colour and technique I do the clumsier the older ones look!
