Hi there,

the names Matt, and I love modelling tugboats!  I'm also on the Mayhem forum so I suspect a couple of familiar faces will appear.

I have a "thingy" called Willit (maybe someone here can identify the kit?), a Springer tug in the shape of a Bantam tug and I am about to crack on and finish dads Mountfleet Active.

Looking forward to some informative posting

btw I love the heading pic!

Hi Guys/Gels,are there any gels?,
Just joined,I am careful with cash so I scratchbuild from plans or my own designs.
Just posted a photo of my Springer in the Springer section, have built a 2nd and they are called Gazunda & Guzova. You may be able to work out why I named the 1st one!
No prizes,

Len

Hello all
Been skulking around your forum for the past few days and i must say it has been great. :D
I have built models before, "Drumb beat of Devon" and "Vilestroom" from "Slipway" now i know they are not tugs, :-[ so are probably swear words around hear, so in a attempt to redeem myself, ::) i did build (20 years ago) a billings kit called "Samson 2", ;) which was a tug, and i am now the proud owner of the "Aziz", which i have just picked up today, 8) so i will be bending a few ears on here in the coming months, yes, months, as i am not the fastest builder, plus other hobbies tend to get in the way.
Anyway, looking forward to joining in and learning as much as i can.

P.s. the name Mutley comes from my 1/8th scale nitro racing mates, yes, i know, more bad language  :-X
