I like it to make things by recycling. You can use so many things. And most of the things i will make on my model are not for sale or the costs are high.

This model will be RC Control. When it is ready it will be spring 2010 i think.

Next week i will go further with how to make whinches.

hello every one.

Here in Holland it is very bad with snow, but very good for go further with building of mine tug.

I had said that we are going further with the whinches.

I use pipe's are from  evergreen plastic sime metal rings and parts of the caffe stirrer.

For the big whinches i use spools for a sewing machine with throu the spools a small evergreenpipe and parts of the caffe stirrer for stands

further on these picture you see a piece of pipe with a screw where i put on the crane's so they can turn.

For the small whinches i use also some evergreen plastic for stands an small piece of piepe and two rings

put them together and you have a whinche cheaper isn't possible

further this week i had made the rail for the helicopterdeck.
When a helicopter will land the rail must go down. But in this scale not possible. on the rail there are also three  aerials on each site.

had had some rail  and cut it in pieces and also some musquito screen. glue the pieces together and painted it.

see the pictures

This week i haven't do much. Because it was a hord week work with these weather. Lang days 04.00 to 20.00 hour.
It is not a fine weather to ride a lorry.

But i have recieved from germany. I saw them on the site of www.g-schmidt.com. I orderd there some rail for ship and stairs. These are plastic and in scale 1:100. Yea you will say buy something instaed of recycling? Yes these rails are difficult to make and i had iron but i don't like them.

I am now waiting for mine propellors i had order these

one turning left and one right.

For the bow i was thinking. It it to heavy so i take one plank between them and put a small one in return and fill it with foam.
It is very good to work with and also to model it in the shape uou want.

So hello everybody,

The weather is bad so i had to work on the accomadation. For the hull it is to cold in the shed.

Last week i had said that i had recieved some reling from germany.

Now that works so good i go order more of that also for other models who i will make.

You can with a pair of scissors make the reling in the length you want. Is is so easy.

I also had bring some windows to the accomodation. The windows are black stickerfolie

Further for test i had bring the propellor in the strahlpipe? it looks very good.

Here are some other things i had make in past time.

The Masts are made of evergreen plastic

You see the bow mast which can go down. and the aftmast. You also see the salat top cover which i had used for the form of the wheelhouse.

this is the raw version. You see in top the firecanon. that one i put away was to big later i saw in a toyshop a matchbox fire truck that was the best who fit in scale of the model. So I had to buy 4 of those trucks for all the the fire canons onboard the vessel.

On the front you see the 2 radar units also from evergreen plastic.

Here how the mast is ready. painted and i also had bring some lights on it. The lights are made of small beads who i got from mine wife.

I take a very small rod from evergreen and put on it 2 beads. So i make mine lights.

So i hope you got again some ideas for using by your own model or for other stuff you want to make.
