CAD software
« on: December 08, 2009, 00:31:09 »
Reading various articles on modelling a number of people use CAD programs to generate cutting templates. As TD was not on the curriculum at my school, my drawing skills are limited.
Can anyone suggest a fairly simple CAD software (preferable free) that willl turn 3d drawings into template sections?
By fairly simple I mean one that will not take 3 years to learn tp use.

Hi
There is a program called Turbocad that mights do the trick, Havn't used it for a long time but I do know its got 3d drawing capability, the basic version has been 'given away' from time to time with some of the Computer Mags
