Come on guys - BigFord's right - time to withdraw the proverbial finger

There are some great pictures being displayed on the front page and we can't find them.
The pictures seem to be pulled randomly, can you not persuade it to pull the link as well

Certainly is Stavros ! .... and certainly full steam ahead with the forum Bosun !

As regard the images, I'm glad you like them, it took alot of sorting and lots of midnight oil burning ! ...just think the forum looks better with a few pics.

As regards attaching links to the pics ...very difficult to do as they are being pulled out at random from the attachments file and the attactments file just see's them as images and does not know which topic they originate from ...but I'll have a think on how I can do this.

Lots, lots more new stuff on its way !!!!

Watch this space !

Sound five short blasts on your horn, then 'submerge'!!

A freind of mine was taking his 'Command Endorsement' exam for unlimited tonnage, and the examiner asked him what he'd do in a particular circumstance, with ships coming at him from every direction. His answer was 'sound five short blasts on the horn, then submerge!!
He passed the test, but the examiner should have told him he was commanding a tanker, not a submarine!! ;D ;D

The idea of a 'quick link' to a particular photo is a good one, but I can understand the administrators work load!
