I agree with Jenno.....Chrisuk does deserve an apology from Sea Mariner regarding the "Specsaver" comment. We have a huge range of modelling members on here with a huge range of modelling abilities and a comment like that is just not fair. We all like a bit of fun on here but sometimes a comment like that is not called for and goes too far.

Sea Mariner please make a public apology to Chrisuk for the comment made within 48 hours or a 14 day ban will be issued and final warning issued.

PM sent to Chrisuk and Sea Mariner

Hi Chrisuk,
Take no notice of those who are having a moan, I found you a very nice guy when I meet you for the first time last week and your mates are very freindly as well, if I had the money I would buy the tug of you but you know my situation.
Kind regards
Don.

Try starting a new post in the sales board  ;) Just like when I requested you to do it before with the Shamrock etc  ;)

If someone is wanting to buy they will look in the sales board  :)

Kind Regards, Dan.

Chris,

Best of luck to you in your professional endeavours. I wish I could be of assistance, however, I am on the other side of the pond. Somewhat of a long commute.

I don't think that you will have much trouble selling your model as she is a fine looking craft. You have done an excellent job on her.

On the brighter side, just think of the enjoyment you will get from building your next boat and posting the picturs on the Forum.

Best wishes and keep your chin up.

I bought two tugs a few weeks back, it was a deal a large smit nederland which my cousion now has an a happy hunter for myself.

Its a diffrent one, its red an has a heli pad on it.

But its not the type i want, iam after a more ancher handling rather than a survay vessel.

so iam happy to swap or part X it for a aht.

here are 3 pictures an help would be great

Just cut down the back bulwarks, and install a roller....
Instant AHST. ;)

No need to cut into the hull, just cut down the bulwarks at the stern, and
cement a 1/2, or 3/4 round section of 25mm PVC pipe across the back. Then build up
the mounting point on either end so that it bumps out and tapers in nicely.

Instant AHTS  ;)
