Firstly, Many thanks for all the pm's and email recieved from the members on the forum  :) :)

To cut a long story short, every thing went so perfect  :) the pre-operation tests were fine, the operation itself (5 hours) went to plan, although it was the longest 5 hours of our lives, and the recovery process came as a shock as per the routine operation, we should have been in the hospital for 2 weeks and due to the great recovery of our little  angel they discharged her on Tuesday  ;)

A 5" scar is all she has and this will disappear within time, a few check-ups to be done over the next few weeks.

Just got to catch up with all the washing now ! I have never seen so many dirty bibs !!

Many Thanks again guys & girls for your support, much appreciated  :)

Best Wishes to all,

Kind Regards, Dan.

ps, Oh yes, also to do is to catch up with the forum !!

Cheers TERRY, Footski, MTM & Allan for more kind words  :)

Norry, I took a walk down to the tall ship in the late afternoon on Sunday for a few photos also managed to get a few photos of the seaplane landing on the Clyde, if I knew there was a coal fire and a boiling kettle well I would have been there  :)

A slight upset has happened tonight, I have just got back from RAIGMORE HOSPITAL (Inverness) where Abigail has been admitted for the weekend due to heavy breathing, she is back on the oxygen and a few drugs being given, the doctor thinks she is getting a cold and after surgery she will struggle for a bit but the wife is by her side and hopefully in the morning the situation will have settled down.

Updates will be provided as and when I know  ;)

Regards, Dan.

A further update and to cut along story short, she and my wife was in Raigmore for 16 days and I got a phonecall at 5am last monday to go to the hospital, we nearly lost our little  angel and the doctors said she only had 30 minutes to live so that was a shock.

A team of specialists were flown up from Glasgow to help with her life support and she was flown back down to glasgow and we drove down to follow her, 3 days in intensive care on life-support machine and a second operation to repair a failed valve on her heart, she pulled through this operation just like the last and now we are back home and she is looking just great, gaining weight, lots of smiles and our little trouper has defied all the odds.

Thanks again for the pm's and emails, it is great to know that there are some good friends on the forum  :)

Abigail will be 6 months old a week on Friday so please feel free to send a donation or a bottle of RUM  ;D

Best Wishes & Kind Regards, Dan, Abigail, Toby (the dog) and Mrs Sea.Mariner (the wife !)

She sure sounds like a tough one. Happy to hear that things have improved. Should be smoothe sailing until she is a teenager, right.
