Tug Stand !
« on: August 22, 2010, 10:29:23 »
Normally, I would use cheap mdf for a stand for a tug while working on it in the workshop then use a good quality plywood or hardwood stand for the finished tug which would be stained and varnished  :)

I have been sent an email today from a friend which shows how much differance a 'little' detailing to a stand can do to set off the overall model and what a model it is  :)

Regards, Dan.

From the same email, another stand for a fishing boat, I was asking my friend in Germany for ideas for a floating drydock that would float and could be sank to release the model on it but I think he got his emails mixed up !!
