so i have now bought my batteries. and wondering about wiring and what kind of wiring could i use. im am planning on using just speaker wiring at the moment. any suggestions?

thanks for those pics mike. did you solder the wires to the motor? heres some of my recent progress.







built my mast. but doesnt look to good specaially up close. :-[

heres my basic battery arrangemnt im thinking of marrying them together or 2  to 2.

also got my steering done. :)

Looks good!
The batteries on mine sit on either side of the shaft - two adjacent, two against the hull with Velcro keeping them in place. Hull still needs a small bit of weight at the stern to bring it to the right level.

where could if find TRX battey plugs. im not able to get them and becasue they are soldered and other stuff.

Hi Kieran

Look back at post 32 - are you looking for those Tamiya plugs? BC Shaver has lots of those. I've used them for years without any problems on these boats -

the ones i got are differnt to the tamiya plugs these ones have TRX labelled on them and are black.

What are these plugs on? You need to have someone have a look at what you have and send you in the right direction.
Did a bunch of filing, sanding on the Allan B bits -

I have got my parts from harbor models! some pics coming soon and also i have sanded down the top peice of the wheel house and am getting ready to re paint. or waiting for it to be warm enough! angry

progress has stopped cause i ran out of money and im having to buy new deck harware and paint for my sailboat.

but all i really need these specially hard to find battery connectors and 13 g wiring.
