Leen

Hi Leen, according to my contacts, The Maersk Trader is in Nigeria (Onne).

Regards, Dan.

ps, You wouldn't happen to be the Leen from the Netherlands that used to visit us in Great Yarmouth (Paul Gowan, Robbo etc ) and Aberdeen are you ? Maybe Leen is a common name in Holland ?

Yes Neil, have seen it  ;)

A quote from towingline.com ;

On Feb 26, 2011, the "SBS Typhoon" (Imo 9355965) hit the "VOS Scout" (Imo 8104152) whilst alongside Aberdeen harbour. The "SBS Typhoon" allegedly tested their engines, but the vessel‟s propeller pitch was engaged in such a way that she moved forward, thereby breaking all mooring lines, including those of the "VOS Scout". Considerable damage was sustained. The "VOS Scout" is actually berthed at Regent Quay in Aberdeen. The multipurpose offshore vessel SBS Typhoon is built in 2006 at Vyborg; Russia has a dwt 3800. She is registered under the UK flag and under management of SBS Marine. The Emergency Rescue and Response Vessel VOS Scout is built in 1981 has a dwt 330 and is registered under the Bahamas flag and owned by Vroon Offshore Services.

Regards, Dan.
