Hello Arrow5:
Your right, seems Umi is a neighbor. and I would be happy to have a good boat source a little
closer to home.
Say good idea on the Cromarty Rose, It's perfect. I really like her looks, a great looking work
boat.
I found the post from Norry on the Balamory, really can get into the Island Class Ferries.
Gotta say, I'm primed for this next project, all kind of comes together with that style of boat.
Thanks Arrow appreciate all your help.
Tim

The Cromarty Queen runs just 5 miles from me (not during the winter) but should you require any close up photos or help, let me know as I know the crew & company  ;) ;)

I believe the Cromarty Rose is working near Bristol (England).

Glad to of been some help  :)

Dan
My apology,
I was confused in my glee...
I missed that one.
The M.V. Cromarty Queen is the newer of the two vessels. Now I have it.
Just like an Irish lad to stencil the wrong boat.
(Apologies to my Irish brothers and sister before hand.)
I may take you up on a closeup picture of the wheel house and ramp.
P.S. I assume you use the ferry, would that be on a regular basis or a Sunday
outing.
Thanks
Tim

No I don't use the ferry at all, I live near the Nigg landing and over at the Cromarty landing is the back of beyond unless you are a tourist or live there its not really of any use !!!

As for the photos of the wheelhouse and ramp, leave it with me, I will see what I can do in a week or 2  ;) ;)

Regards, Dan.

ps, if I am on her for those photos, I will probably take lots more, above and below decks  :) :)

Regards, Dan.

Somebody else who fell in love with Cromarty Rose also from across the pond in Troy Mi. USA was Joe31hat . He chose the later blue livery, I prefered the buff/tan.
