I have started a build on the BRAtt tug.  Used every picture and deawing that I could find to scale it up to 1" to 1".  I have the keel and ribs cut and installed on a building form to make the plug.  Next is to plank the bottom. So far it is 25 1/4 " x 14".  With the plywood on the plug and then the glass, I should be just about right.   Will post some pictures soon.

Well, been working on my BRAtt Tug plug ( say that fast 3 times LOL ) for about a week and a half now.  I have the bottom planked with 1/8" bending plywood, seams and low spots filled with Bondo and sanded flush, and a single layer of 1/8" ply all around the edge where the fendering will attach.  Now I need to tackle the bullworks.  Not quite sure how or where to start, so I am in the thinking process.  I have orded some 1 inch black rubber tube off of Ebay and some yellow zip ties to hold it on.  Have to come up with an idea of what to attach the zip ties to.  Not crazy about having to put slots into the hull for the zip ties.  And how to slot the rubber for the zip ties.  Another thinking process.  Attached is a side shot photo.

Update on the BRAtt Tug build:  I have the bullworks on and cut down to size.  Some more body filler and a few coats of primer and some sanding.  It needs a bit more primer and then a coat of paint, before I tackle the mold.  Played around with a towing staple.  9/16 inch aluminum bent around a 1 inch form.  Even have my first crew member.  Cartoon boat needs a cartoon crew.

Up date:  I got my BRAtt into primer and the keel added, and more primer.  Once all the rough sanding marks were gone, it was 5 coats or orange paint.  That has sat for about a week to harden, now it's time to start the 2 part mold.  I do hope it comes apart.

I am kind of at a stand still.  Family problems, and taking over my fathers business have left me with little time for anything.  I am talking with someone who might be able to get the 2 piece mold made for me. Once I have that I will be able to pop out a hull.  I do have a second crew member tho. LOL
I also have a monster truck I want to put on Ebay to sell, which will give me some extra cash to buy the running gear.  So lots to do an not enough time for it all.

Time? Don't know where the model building time goes either.
