Finally got the G10 deck installed and bonded to the hull. Used more acrylic adhesive combined with countersunk screws.

A bit more progress. Got some walls on the pilot house up and worked on the proportions. A bit cab forward but should balance out better with the large exhaust I have planned. Still working on the smoker and hope to start testing in the near future.

A bit too much trapezoid shape in the pilot house. Going to cut it up    ::)  and make the base a bit more boxy...

Got a new blocked in pilot house. Upper still feels a bit large and will be trimmed down 5mm. Proportions are better now. Will give it a run on the lake for a final check.

Nice looking build.
The house look good to me...and your work is very crisp & sharp.

Carol Shelby doesn't look to worried about those sharks!

Thanks,

The hull is looking better now. I do wish it were a tad bit wider to be closer to a log tug's proportions. The pilot house is a bit close to the hull coaming at the front but it needed to be that wide to fit 1:12 scale figures. Really need to get it on the water for the final adjustments.

Hello LOG TUG BUILD.
Can I ask where you bought the sharks.
I am also looking for small sharks.
But I can not find them.
with best regards Cor

hi Zeevaart
I got sharks that size for my son when he was small from the shop at the London zoo
and also the london aquarium shop (he was shark mad)

I have since used them on some of my fishing boats...
hope this helps
