My model of the Solano
« on: June 18, 2011, 05:41:47 »
On request some pics of my model of the Solano from ITC wich i'm currently building.
I'm now busy for a small year and until now i'm very pleased with the result.
I don't know how long it will take to build her but i'm not rushing things.
From july 15 the project will go on hold because of moving to my new house and the arrival of my girl from Russia.

Enjoy

cheers

Leon

Scale 1:50 so that puts her on 1,10 mtrs.
It's not so big.

Hello Sudbury,

Yes she looks very smart but i'm going to build her as she was delivered in 1977, so with the crownest and the crane on the port side.
At that time she was looking the best.
But as I said, from july 15 the project will stop for unkown time.

cheers
