Rebuilt project from Smit Enterprise to Bergingshaai 2

Hello builders.
Here a start with a rebuild tugboat.
I'm already one year busy with the rebuilding.
So the pictures will come a litle faster.
So he looked,when I bought it.

First I start with taking out of the old electronics

Here I start with the new becker rudders.


a lot of milling work.


Already two pieces of rudders for fifty percent finist.


The backflaps in progres.


Here I have rounded the hinges.

soldered and cleaned.


Breaking off the old nozzles and rudders.

The difference between,two props from 120 mm to 108 mm.

Making a new foundation for de engine's.


New bearings in parts.


The new foundationplate with holes for the propulsionline.


Two gearboxen one fineshed and one in parts.


One propulsionline complete.


Both propulsionline's fineshed.

Finished painting the reardeck also put the rudders in place.


Making a new bowfender from a belt.




I fill the holes with liquid rubber.


The old lifeboad was no longer good so we orded a new one,at the shipyard,


New FRC (fast resque craft) in progres.


The new FRC finished.

Splice steelcable and put A clamb on.


I have made a delta flipper anchor.


Also I made a drag anchor.

it seems a bit too long.
But that's easy to adjust.
better long than too short. :)
