thanx for the complements guys,i like the way shes turnning out.
i havent worked on her in 2 days.
yesterday and today was fun time with the kids.
but i did manage to con the wife into buying me a new toy.

rc retrival rig/fisher/hunter/fun!

my local academy sports had the pelican 8 ft bass fisher on clerance for $299....because it was stored outside, had little mildew on the floor, and the swivel seats....needed oil to swivel.

so needless to say i picked up the boat, headed to walmart for a $120 30lb motor guide.
at home i had 2 salvaged deep cycle batteries, and a solar panel with voltage regulator....expensive....but i get them free all the time.

so with both batteries, and solar panel....i should get a full 12 hours of riding/fishing from this rig.
plus it fits perfect in the back of my 82 toyota 4x4 long bed.boat weights in at 87lbs,fully loaded im looking at about 200 lbs.
going run her tomorrow along with my rc jet boat...lol.

total cost for me to ride!
$445

had lots of fun in it today, took her on a 4 mile run,got plenty sun burn.
she travels about walking speed, plenty power for 1-2 adults.

i guess ill have to jump back on the craig soon.

little progress....not much.i ran out of 1/4 in wide planks,so ill have to strip some more inorder to continue.
but i did remove it from the stretcher, about 30 more planks and the hull structure will be ready for prep work.
shes shaping up nicely.
