Just a gentle reminder that the Midland Model Engineer exhibition is on this weekend. I shall be attending and will attempt to find and photograph much that may interest us.

This Maycock - London looks as if it has a long history, on the Blackheath MBC standmainley metal and with quite a large steam engine, could it be as old as some of us.

The Moorcock tug pictured I believe was built around the 1930's its owned by Phil (steamboatphil) from the model boat forum site with the blue top in the photo.
He has owned the tug since last January after the gentleman who used to own it Norman Phelps died suddenly before Christmas, its got a lovely steam plant powering the model.

Now for something that I suspect quite a few would not expect to see as model "Gas Turbine Locomotives" as one might expect they make quite some noise which certainly attracts the crowds.
More tomorrow.
