Thanks for all your comments, we have quite a few tuggers in the club, and they all want something to tow so we have q few barge's  big and small , Our latest is a 15ft steel built great lakes tanker.  We are also planning an extension to our harbour, we want to make it a bit more difficult to navigate. Anyone coming to Jersey is more then welcome to sail on our pond, if you don't have a boat with you,we will always have one for you to use,     Come and give Tug towing a go........
Our next build is  SS Vega,  She was a Red Cross ship that delivered food parcels to the islands during the war......

A few pics of what is going to be our new build for towing, which we will be starting very soon. It will be an 8ft long replica of the SS Vega, which was a Red Cross supply ship which brought food for the Channel Islands.

A bit of local history...

Great pics, thanks for posting.

The Vega looks like it will be a great and challenging build. Look forward to following your progress.

^-^Thanks for the comments, It shouldn't be to bad as we built one before out of wood which was permanently moored up at the pond but after a few years it succumbed to the weather so we had to scrap her.
Below is a picture of her being towed by my Typhoon Tempest tug
