Sorry George for getting your name wrong, probably too much paint fumes, which now the weather is getting warmer I can continue on the painting of my tug seems to be taking forever, 3 years I think was the last count. But everything has to be right if it isn't I build the part again! Crazy I know, but that's how we roll in this neighbourhood.

Speaking of neighbourhoods, are you part of the clan that sails at Bluewater (shopping Mall near the Dartford Crossing, E London), I keep promising to come down and see those fine models, and what a great pond they have to, do you know what the regular days they sail, or does anyone for that matter?

Regards,
Kim

Well done George yet another top quality reminder of tugs of the River Thames.  When you build one of these wonderful replicas of a bygone age, The name of the tug and the company name is not forgotten. Smashing job.  :)

George,

The workmanship and detail are breathtaking. The metal and woodwork finishing is exceptional and details down to the bell rope.

I did notice that there were 6 life rings around the wheelhouse. Do you fellows fall in very much? ;D

Well done, sir.

here are the final pictures for this build  ,she went afloat on sunday morning, No leaks or problems, apart from the ammount of weight required to get her down, there was the 26amp battery at 18lbs and 24lb of lead distributed fore and aft, all in all very pleased.   Geo
