What brands of green paint do you use for painting decks. Can you include a code number also please.

I use to use Humbrol Brunswick green Matt. No longer produced.

Any suggestion or lists most welcome.

Phil.

What is the brand of paint?? No Bunnings in Timaru.

I will ask the Model Dockland in Auckland if they have the Model Master paints in stock, just for a try.

Much going on in Nelson??

It is KNIGHTS brand,  one of the many Aussie brands they sell. good paint thou as i use it on my boats . I only use Dulux if i am spraying . The KNIGHTS is brushing enamel.
Nelson is not so bad at the moment as winter has not set in yet and good daily temps around 12-14.
I have been off work the past fortnight with a prolapsed disc in my neck so plenty of time in the man cave .
Hope all is well down your way.

I agree with the "looks right to me" I am a little colour blind too like many of us cavemen.

Colour charts are just for comparing apple with apples for me. The girls always had a giggle when we did the colour tests at school!!

I was always right thought!!

I have used an oil based blackboard paint before. Works well. Nice green. Must be oil based though.

Boman.

Hi.

I had that blackboard paint deck coating told to me too. Never thought of it till now. Might try it but buying a small quantity is the problem.

Almost too many options.

How are those deck cranes??

You can buy it a litre at a time. Which is a lot. You can buy smaller amounts, but it is acrylic and no where near as good,

Only have one built, it looks good. I am still deciding on a deckhouse and crane placement. Also building military models at the moment.
