Great find! Who is making the kit?
I am building the MMM version at the moment. Decided to build a more modern version similar to the one above. That meant non of the templates I ordered with the kit can be used. Making my own from Damen plans as we speak. Very interested to find out which winches and crane they use in the kit. Don't fancy making them from scratch.

Rob,

Very interested to find out which winches and crane they use in the kit. Don't fancy making them from scratch.

On my MMM stantug we used and modified the Graupner hydraulic crane 70x75x52mm. Plastic, scale 1:33. Supplied in kit-form.
Part No: G339

As I am not aiming at a precise scale model, just as scale as possible without being pedantic, I might just follow your route. Looked at this one before and wondered how you could mod it. Just not easily found these days. But then, what's the rush!?
Nice detail on your model by the way.

Cheers

I can not confirm that the e-mail address is right, but I think it contains a typo and should read as follows: sfc-geschaeftsstelle@web.de

Cranes - I think Model Slipway still have three different 1/32 cranes available.

A friend of mine calls the manufacturer and ask him about the kid. When I have exact dates I give it to you.

@ Volker the Mail i from Google. It is possible that it is not correct :(

Very nice indeed. I just picked another specific tug and nothing fitted anymore. Its my first gfk hull and I really like working on it. Very forgiving.
And it floats!! No leaks, yet.
I will post some pics soon. Just not home often enough. Everything takes a lot longer.
And Volker, I am not sure if the ae in the German link will work as it should be an 'Umlaut' you would find only on a German keyboard. I googled for ages and made no inways. But hey, whats the rush?!

Cheers

Hello
I just heard, this model is only a CAD study and will be so do not buy as a kit.

Also, the CAD data has not been released for publication or reproduction of a model.

Pity but is so.

Request for closing of the topic from the signer of the CAD data!  ???
