Well then....I finally did it, and ordered a P94 Twin ESC-Mixer unit from FLJ :) :), and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

Been experimenting with 'signage' decals, and bought a few sheets of 'Testors' water-slide decal paper from Scott's Hobbies, here in Duncan.
It takes some doing to scale these signs right, but they look the part!

Happy Saturday 8) 8)

Well done Mike, a model as good as that deserves the best internals..Welcome to the P94 club....now that has a ring to it. May ask Dave (FLJ) if he has any club badges!!!

After tring out a few, and there's LOTS to choose from, I went with a Kodak Z1285, with 12mp and a 5X Optical zoom.

I'll work with it for the w/end, and see if it does what I want it to do.
The price was good, at $176 plus card & taxes, and it's small enough to fit in the pocket.

I may still trade in for the Fuji unit though.

Cheers

So what have I done since last w/end you ask...

I fashioned up a couple of 'Sat-Tel' domes, out of Maple, and mounted them atop the w/house; made a few deck-boxes; and had a great time with that 'caution' tape I ordered from 'Line-O-Tape' in the US, (awesome stuff...that tape)

Also, my P94 from AcTion arrived, so I spent a while cutting wire and soldering up connections; so next update should show some progress in the engineroom ;)

Cheers

Just a little update on my progress here with this build:

I've got most of the elecs installed,...still waiting on the ESC I ordered for the tow winch.....and hope to do main engine(s) alignment this w/end.
Plus, I've decided to add deck lights, so have to wire-in 14 'amber' 3volt lights soon.

Still soldering up more brass railings as well.

Will post some pics soon!

Lot's of detail work to do on the other side (Stbd)...and still awaiting a nice engine sound system to come along!!   Hint Hint to FLJ.

Then...in the water she goes for trials.

Certainly is coming along - lots of detail - looks good!

Rain? Should have tried Lake Cowichan around noon - test of rain gear.

What did you use for the deck paint - that is a good shade.
