Robb R1565 Ships Crane
« on: May 28, 2014, 13:33:28 »
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a Robb R1565 ships crane? Everywhere seems to be out of stock for months on end. I placed an order with Westbourne and just saw the postings about them. I did call them today and was asked to call back Friday. If I can find one elsewhere I will and ask for a refund but so far no luck so if anyone finds one can they let me know please?

Many thanks

It seems that crane model is not in production anymore. It's been moved to the Product Archive on Robbe's site.

There's a German shop on ebay.de selling them for 13EUR. But shipping is 16.50EUR making the whole thing not so interesting (unless you combine with other stuff from said shot).

Then there's these guys: http://www.voelkner.de/products/188100/Robbe-1-1565-Schiffskran.html
11.50EUR + 10EUR shipping.

Just been on ebay and seen a guy in Bidiford Devon is making scale cranes from resin available in different scale sizes

Type in Model Boats and keep  scrolling down

Hi Mark,

Thanks for that. I was lucky to find only one Robbe crane on EBay, luckily it was what I was after so I bought it. Here it is in place....
