I wonder if anything is being done about restoring all the missing photos, or is the "repair" complete?

No the repair is not complete. Following such a devastating problem, it is going to take a little more time to get things working as they should. Tugmaster is hard at work trying to fix things...

Personally, I have no technical knowledge of the way these sites fun, but I believe it was a major crash, caused by something the service provider either did, or failed to do. Everything was backed up,but putting it all together again with correct links is a big job......
