Our local U.S army tug Electra has recently had a bit of a facelift.

Interesting. . .I'm sure there is a simple answer as to the thinking around
this irritating paint job. The "shocking" paint work does help me to feel
much better about my last tug's paint scheme. What do the locals there
think about the spectacle.
Yet another case of why men and women go down to the sea in ships. . .A pleasure to be here and smell the salt air. Thank you Tugboat Forum. . .Michael in Anacortes, Washington

I bet the deckapes love it!

"Gee, sorry Skipper, I couldn't find the broom or the bucket or deck brush or the paint brushes or the paint or anything else on this camo tub!".    "Everything just sort of vanished!".
