hi all been busy doing other stuff  but now back in the boat building chair  had a commission build to do to  (photos to follow later)

the new build is going to be  a  Canadian a.s.d  tugboat  based on 
numas warrior or shuswap  im going to do shuswap
the hull is from gary king 
its 22inch loa  beam 11 inch   it will be 1;32nd scale

couple more  shottle units are the large graupner  one's 65mm props  the motors are robbe navy geared3:3:1

hi scott the western mariner is my last tugboat build  i had it over to the foss cup (i still call that)  august this year  regards ray

Ray, thanks for that. I wondered if you meant the Western Towboat tug, Western Mariner in Seattle. I sailed on her a lot including the maiden voyage.

bit of a update  glued the deck beams in  & glued the foredeck down    next step is to cut the beams for the coamings for the opening    hope to have the aft deck  cut out by the weekend

update   ive got the side decks in place the  coamings for the superstructure glued in place   the after deck is on hold for a bit as im waiting on a part for one of the drive units

 the square hole in the fore deck is for a winch with the drive motor under it & then bolt it onto the deck
