Bournville MYPBC Tug Day

Bournville MYPBC are holding a Tug Day on 5th June 2016. 10 - 1800hrs. All tug skippers are welcome to attend. Sail, display, bring work in progress all are welcome. There will be a tanker towing competition for those interested, teams of up to three members. There will also be a tug of war, Tug vs Tug to find out the most powerful on the day. And finally there will be a bollard pull for those who want to put a figure on their power.

I'll see if I can get up to that Rob great venue and beautiful lake also good tea+coffee in clubhouse which is also ideal for when it rains which I've experience a number of times at this lake??? Incidentally the last time l put a boat in the water at Bournville was back in 1996 at the national straight running championships.

 HI FAIRPLAY  V ; I once had a model of the fairplay V . It was a real good puller . I built a kort -nozzle for it . It did not come that way ,as it had a fixed kort-nozzle and rudder . Had a motor-cycle  battery , and a futaba speed control , and a HECTAPERM  MOTOR .    PUFFIN
