Well the wood and fittings arrived as promised good old MMM.
So after deck is now glued in , the rudder made and servo fitted , motor and coupling in and lined up.
And started making and altering some fittings.

That tow hook looks good. Is that standard fitting?

I made it up from the drawings that I am working from they came with the hull.
They were all fitted with the 30 ton bollard pull Spring hook with a built in roller over the top as the towing winch was fitted just ahead of the hook and the roller allowed the cable to clear once it was swung to the side.
In the picture of the Foundation Josephine ex Salvonia on the rocks you can make out the layout.

Finally got some paint on her hull at last and the decks are painted with topcoat, more handrails to make and paint and the lifeboats have to be rigged, than I shall attack the making and rigging of her masts,
After that it is a matter of fixing the fittings in place and wiring up the motor etc.

Thank you gentlemen.  It is not so fast as having plenty of time to play really, and having been making model tugs for nearly 60 years, you get to know the little wrinkles that help make things easy.  Geo
