ALP Maritime took delivery of ALP STRIKER
« on: January 04, 2017, 07:41:10 »
In the last quarter of 2016 ALP Maritime Services took delivery of the first of four Future class tugs with a bollard pull of over 300 tonnes..

ALP is the company that bought the former Harms Bergung managed tugs from their respective owners. ALP is part of Teekay Offshore Partners.

The Future class tugs are long distance AHTs designed by Ulstein of Norway and built at Niigata shipyard in Japan. ALP Striker is the first that got commissioned. Three more are in various stages of construction.

Great videos. Is anyone building a model of one of these?
