Here's the full size Flying Osprey moored up in Southampton 1996 in Howard Smith livery with other members of the Southampton fleet, interestingly enough all three tugs in the picture had different propulsion set-ups:
Flying Osprey was a forward driven schottle tug
Brightwell was a stern driven schottle
Lynhurst was a voith-schneider powered tug

What make are the two z-drive units?

  Hi Mike. The motors gearbox & drives came as a unit with the kit, ( the kit is the Karl )
  I don't think this kit is  available now. Hope this helps.
