New Build
« on: April 12, 2017, 01:29:29 »
Hope this is the right place to post this  ,I am in the process of my first ever build ,which is loosely based on Billings ST Canute ,its turning out quite naval , I work at the University so speaking nicely to the workshop Technician I got the pieces Laser cut at the University CAD facility where we   had to jiggle the scales a bit as the drawings and frame templates  I had been  given were all over the place its now a reasonable 1/50, and it seems to be going together quite nicely. This will just be a static model if all goes well I hope to scale it up to 1/25th for the next attempt.

Will do ,the aim is or at least  I am hoping to scratch build everything or as much as possible ,have just been soldering the bridge rails using split pins and 1/16th gas welding rods ,with any luck the CAD technician will 3D print my propeller  think he likes helping as its  different from his day job and deep down I think he wants to have a go at building one himself .
