Wow.  you just have too much time on your hands.  I may manage about 1 tug in that period of time.

Hi Vanya thanks for the comment, but I have been retired for 8 years now, nearly 74 and Imreally must slow down now the old eyes are not as good anymore.  Geo.

I hope you don't mind me asking
Do you make everything including the hull or do you modified GRP ones?
Also have you plans of everything you build or are they from pictures and knowledge?
Will you be going to Haydock model boat convention? If so are you displaying?

Hi Spud,  It depends on whether there is a commercial hull available that suits otherwise I make them plank on frame, and I normally have to do the drawings myself as most of the older Tugs plans are not available,and I also use a lot of photographs and at least for the Thames tugs knowledge of working on them for 50 years.
 No I will not be at Haydock.

Great to see such a fantastic collection, George. Kingston Buci (er, that should be Kingston Lacey) tucked away at the back. Did you ever make a start on Meeching?
