Planet 5 and 7 tx rx
« on: June 05, 2018, 11:41:48 »
Hello all

I was wondering whether or not planet tx and rx are still in production. I was going to buy a new receiver only to find none for sale.

If this is the case what rx have other members found to have worked with the tx or is it a question of scrapping and buying different altogether.

Apparently no longer available.

Servo shop suggests:
Thank you for the mail.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to obtain the receivers for the Planet range of radio equipment, this has been discontinued with the UK distributor, and all sstocks of radios and accessories have sold out.

If it would be of interest, we can supply another 6ch radio system, this being the Ikonnik KA-6, which can be seen via the following link

https://www.servoshop.co.uk/index.php?pid=IKONNIKKA6&area=Radio

Suitable receivers for this radio can also be found here:

https://www.servoshop.co.uk/index.php?pid=KNNA1004&area=Radio

I hope this is of some help,

Thanks and best regards

J Perkins Distribution confirmed no more.  They have the modification pieces for those who want dual sprung or ratchet  transmitter sticks for using independent twin motors.

There may be something different and new in September  but it does seem that the Ikonik ka6 and spare receivers is the way forward. I will keep my freesky taranus tx for aircraft.

Transmitter and 13 receivers arrived and all ok. I have bound all receivers to the transmitter. I bought also the kit to enable the second stick to be sprung or ratchet for when sailing boats with twin props for I like to have the motors independent on larger vessels to facilitate but turning in conjunction with the rudder.

Now to get some boats finished.
