Seen in Jussey
« on: October 17, 2018, 03:27:52 »
Hi
I was in Jussey this September and in the Harbour I came across this.
That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

Well it's certainly different, the only other simular paint scheme i have seen in recent years was a ship owned by Sea Sheppard  (a bit like Greenpeace).

Hello from a mile along the road!

Seen in Jersey, I assume! :)

Dazzle camouflage, but I'm not sure it really works on the tug. Wonder why they did it, was it used in a film, perhaps?

Hi Meechingman
I must ask have we met up at some time?
Yes sorry it was Jersey, I did find this on there Facebook page (tugboatelektra)
ELEKTRA a tugboat gets dazzled as part of the WWI Centenary Commemoration, The 'Elektra' Dazzle Ship was funded by the Jersey Arts Trustís Great War Art and Community Fund, the ex-US army tug boat 'Elektra' was painted over a period of two months.
