Lots of viewers/members/guests from around the world ...so the site has viewers 24/7 ....Non members ...otherwords "Guests" get limited access to the site. I think guests get 2 privaliges and members get about 37. They cannot see pictures which members have loaded, they can't vote, they can't see members details or the calendar, they can't see lots of areas. Its free and easy to join, so they may as well join. We don't bite ! .... well, not sure about Ken and Stav  ;D
Ok, so I like a drop !

Instead of a raffle why not sell it on ebay to raise funds.....

A sound idea there Mark. The raffle is a good one too but may fall foul of many traps, The E-bay one to me seems best.

cheers

**I agree totally Mark!!

Ebay may be the best and a hassle free way to raise funds for the site and would most likely give a better return than than a raffle.

As i mentioned earlier, it wouldn't hurt to add a function to the site to allow "Interested Members" to support the site financially. After all the site has had two competitions and provided great prizes, So Model Tug Forum has given back to it's member's.

Forum's on the web come and go every day, and probably fail due to financial reasons.

If we as members can be given the option to "Donate", I will be one of the first to offer support.

WOAH lets stop and think here I know I have said it in the past and agreed to a raffle  BUT this Kit/prize call it what you may has been donated by a forum SPONSOR.Should we not be seen to be doing the right thing by this kind hearted trader who donated a kit to the FORUM yes FORUM.
What i am getting at is simply this,if I was a sponsor and was treated like this I would not cleraly be amused. To simply offer it up for grabs on EBAY I think is a big NO NO and an insult to that trader.I fully appreciate that the froum needs funding but I do't think this is the right way to go about things.
Personally I would rather it be offered up for tender through the good old fashoned pm method to TUGMASTER with dare I say it and say it I will the Moderators are NOT ALLOWED to tender(boy oh boy that statement will go down like a lead balloon, but that is the correct way).
There is no way on Earth that this kit should be offered on E bay NO WAY. It was given in my opinion for the forum mebers and not outsiders.

Yes we need forum funds so come on Tug Master set up a donations button so we can contribute, and NO contributors do not need special privlages and should remain ANNONIMOUS

Blimey Stav, you turn on a sixpence ! ...few posts back you said "I am up for it" ...lol

So keep yer hair on ! ..no desision has been made about anything  ...and the trader would always be consulted before anything was done" ...this thread was just to throw some ideas around, etc
