When was the last time she was in Scotland Duncan ?

Are you calculating how many miles she has travelled during her World Tour, it would be interesting to find out  :)

Regards, Dan.

Well "World Tour " is an aspiration, so far it has only dittered about northern Europe, with a couple of diversions to western France, Netherlands , Belgium, Sourthern Germany, Austria and Swtzerland. Of course dont forget it came from California U.S.A. so I suppose it is well on it`s way. Currently in either Denmark or Sweden.  Because of the "budget" way of travel it is inclined to be slow, hand carried if someone is only when going somewhere. Trying to avoid paying freight or post unless we have to. We have a couple of offers around the globe from within the Arctic Circle to Oz and N.Z. via Japan where one model boat club has offered to pay for the next stage from there.  Shortly we might have it carried by ferry to St. Petersburgh but definite date in the Baltic. It being a submarine shape there is one maritime museum I think is a must for a visit (see attached ) maybe get there, Aalborg, on the way back from northern Norway. Any offers ?  Mileage travelled so far...? We had a map going on the Google thing but dont know if it is still going. There was a blog started too by our Danish agent, I`ll post the address later.

Word is filtering out of Vallensbaek that preparations are underway for Red Oktober to leave Denmark, believed to be heading for a Baltic port in Sweden. Ice conditions may determine exact route. Refuelling must be priority, crew sick of Danish lager. More news when/if we get it.

Only if you can prove that Canada is part of the world and crew believe that Canadian beer is better than that sold just to the south of you !  ;) It may take a little time but I`m sure they will get it there, cool You got any ideas ?

We'd hope to see it come to Canada - we have a couple of fellows on the island that travel back and forth to the Seattle area - it could travel up the island, visit Burnaby and head towards the Bellingham area onto Seattle.

That sounds like a deal Mike. Unless we find an airline pilot model boater that could be a while before we get to you, but you are on the list !  Update, Red O has left Stockholm and is now in Helsinki, Finland after a brief touch base in Mother Russia for more wodka in St Petersburg at the icy end of the Baltic.

onshore in Helsinki.  Spy-cam catches Red O agents trying to break ice for a sail, minus 15c. They gave up.

Which part ?  Red is heading north (Arctic Circle) when the Baltic thaws a bit.  Send un-coded message when likely to pin-point Red`s current position. Might be back to Med by then.
