Hi Ray,

She looks really great, never ceases to amaze me at the ingenuity of modellers to see and adapt everyday items, I would never have 'seen' the potential of a simple hair roller.

Great work - cheers, Ken

You beat me to it Mike, I think it has enough go, looking at the bow wave washing the decks. But then again there is no such thing as a motor that is too powerful.

Looking good though Ray.
Will it be up for Springer football at Wickstead? Looks too nice to get involved with us hooligans!!!!!!

MARK.

HI RAY ; That sure look's good . If you change to 3: 1 let me know your results . It will possibly less run time ,and the engine will run hotter. What batteries are you using ?           PUFFIN

hi tugs  it had the 'steaming power' but just not much towing/pushing power!!  im useing robbe navy motors this one is 12volt = 5;1  (im running it on 12volt & its under proped for the current motor the prop is the biggest one i can get in there 50mm x 55 pitch 4 blades ) ive used the 5;1  with 97mm props)  so  what im going to do is change  for a robbe navy 3;1 on 6 volts this should match the prop better)

hi tango  im hopeing to get to the wickstead show!  just depends if i get my car fixed!by then (clutch is sliping!!)  im up for a game of footy!

hi puffin   thanks   im running 12volt  but when i change to 3;1 ill be on 6volt  i have 2 x 6volt 4amp jell cell batterys in her
                                      regards ray

HI RAY ; I have one in the planing . I plan to use two 7.2 volt packs ,and the five to one reduction . The 4200 mah batteries are lighter and last longer . This will give me 8.5 amps of running power and less weight . I have been changing over most of my boats to these pac's and I'm really satisfied with them .
