I have some of these fenders - look great, suit a wide variety of tugs.

I've seen some of this rubber in action, on several of friends tugs, and it is real 'sticky', meaning when you push on the side of a barge or ship, you don't slide the length of the hull.
A1 stuff!!

Fenders are good looking. But it is very easy and cheap to make it home, I have years ruber fenders on my ships. I am making mould for fender, black silicone is used for final piece. Look pictures of my Tito Neri, this is silicone too. No any plastic as in the kit

A little more information and photos of your fender preparation would certainly enlighten us. I've seen Umi's and how they are made - on RC Group site some time ago but another approach would be useful.
