glueing 'polystyrene'

hi all can anyone tell me of a glue that you can glue polystyrene together  (without 'melting it')  regards ray

Hello all, Ray this is always a problem. I use double sided sticky tape if there isn't a  need for structural integrity. It all depends on what you are doing but polystyrene (the type made of beads) is a real nuisance to bond.

Hi Ray, if it doesn't need to be too strong and won't be immersed in water PVA wood glue works ok and if it needs to be a waterproof and strong joint silicone sealant is perfect.

Testors makes a great one..excellent wicking properties to fill the joint using minimal amouts.
