Looks like a project there!
Of interest perhaps - I have one of those units in a small dozer boat - the shaft split and had a horrible time replacing it. You might want to look at the Graupner units - they may be a little more robust.

Well If I had to guess, it currently looks to be about 30 "..
Maybe 1:124 to 1:116 scale..
Your gonna fall short a drive too.
Of course you can claim that steerable bow drive is in the
retracted position.
